At Redox, we know that effective data monitoring is crucial for maintaining the health and integrity of your healthcare integrations. We’re excited to announce that we’ve made significant updates to our traffic alert rules. These enhancements are designed to give you even more control and flexibility, making it easier than ever to manage your integrations and ensure the smooth operation of your subscriptions.

What’s new in traffic alert rules?

Weekend and holiday flexibility

Previously, you might have received alerts during times when you didn’t expect any traffic, leading to unnecessary noise in your monitoring process. With our latest update, you can now choose to skip alerts on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. This means more accurate monitoring, tailored to your actual subscription expectations.

Streamlined management for multiple subscriptions

For customers managing multiple subscriptions, creating and maintaining alert rules was a time-consuming task. We’ve now made it possible to create an alert rule once and apply it to multiple subscriptions. Each subscription can be paused or adjusted independently, saving you valuable time and making your alerting system more efficient.

Precision in alert time frames

We’ve improved alert time frames, enabling you to set monitoring intervals as short as 15 or 30 minutes, up to a daily schedule. This added precision ensures your alerts match your exact operational needs.

Updates to API Endpoints

In line with these improvements, we’re also updating some of our API endpoints to better support new functionalities. The deprecated endpoints include:

The new v2 alerts will be:

These changes will allow you to create one alert and link it to multiple subscriptions, simplifying your workflow. The updated API endpoints will also support the new features, such as adding ignore options and more time options for alert settings.

These updates to traffic alert rules are just one way we’re helping you take control of your data monitoring and ensure the integrity of your integrations. Stay tuned as we continue to expand our toolbox, with more features designed to enhance your control and visibility over your integrations. Learn more by visiting our dev docs.
