Hello, World!
Apr 04, 2017
Over recent weeks, it's become increasingly clear that Redox needs a better place for our technical team to communicate not only with our users, but with the development community at large.
In the good old days, we shared this stuff on our company blog, but it no longer feels appropriate for our entire audience.
Our development team deserves their own platform, because the work they do and challenges they tackle are worth sharing, and also because healthcare developers should have a place devoted to topics they're interested in. A place they feel comfortable sharing the big problems they are working on and the lessons they've learned without feeling like they need to dumb it down for a non-technical audience.
So, in true MVP fashion, we're launching an official Redox Engineering Blog.
Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to introduce:
Shift6 is developers' one-stop-shop for stories and insights from Redox's development team.
Starting now, we will use this blog to share:
....
No really, I'm not totally sure what we will post here.
I had originally drafted up a list of topics—things like:
"Redox Platform Updates"
"Behind the Curtain Secrets"
"Hard Learned Lessons"
"Development Community Celebrations"
The marketer in me wanted to lay out a thesis for this blog, or present some common thread that would outline what it will be for the sake of consistency and familiarity, but then I realized, this isn't for me.
This belongs to our developers. I'm happy to get the ball rolling, but now it's up to our dev team to determine what this becomes, and I'm excited to see what evolves in coming months.
Make sure to subscribe for updates if you're interested in content from our technical team, and please let us know what kind of content you'd like to see here. We'd love your input!
